When pattern imprinted concrete is first laid it is sealed with an acrylic sealer that gives the concrete a 'wet look' finish. As the years go by the original sealer will wear down naturally and it is advisable to have the concrete re-sealed every 3-5 years to keep the concrete in pristine condition. If this is not done, the concrete can start to take on a dull 'patchy' appearance as it starts to wear in high 'traffic' areas.

The process of re-sealing imprinted concrete in Surrey is done in stages usually over a few days. The concrete is pressure cleaned using a specially adapted rotary headed pressure washer. This will remove any moss or algae and dirt that may be present on the surface of the concrete. Once dry, usually on another day, the concrete is sealed with a high quality concrete sealer supplied by Smartseal. If oil stains are present we will remove the oil stains with special oil remover for concrete. If the concrete has lost some of its original colouring, we can add colour tints to the concrete sealer to re-create the original colour.
